Default Great Time on Lake Conway this morning

An exciting morning on Lake Conway!!!!! Started in the pool, then moved out to gold point. Where I caught this 15 lb, 27" Buffalo on one of my trolling rods. rigged with 6lb test and a pink minnow for bait. With lil Toni Mae cheering me on i fought this fish for over 6 min...finally landed him...CLASSIC!!!!!!

Enjoy them while they are small, because they grow up way to fast.

That was a fun fight , Buffalo are strong. Not to mention good eating, Buffalo Ribs are great! There are several types of Buffalo and that looks like a Big Mouth Buffalo , that's what commercial fishermen call Gourdheads. The best ones are Smallmouth Buffalo or Razorbacks.
You are going to have one heck of a Tom boy there. Looks like she loves fishing with her daddy.
