    Wondering same thing. Have a chance to go camp, visit kinfolk. Doesn't sound promising judging by the number of responses to your post.

    I'll be there this weekend! For "Smokin in the Cove" drag boat races. But that is all at the dam. I here that the lake is not loaded, but has really good size crappie in it. Hope to try some trolling or spider rigging real soon over there.

    You know, might be the best kept secret, since no one hes posted anything.

    I too would LOVE to know about that lake...agrihawg and I are both AG teachers/FFA advisors and are up there often. We have never fished it but have toyed with the idea in the past. Any experiences??

    Good lake after stable weather. The lake is on the ouachita river chain so the dam generation has alot to do with the fish. You can check the generation schedule at entergy.com and click on hydro operations. A few of the pockets in the spring can yield large strings of Crappie. Kaitlin grub jigs in shad color work well. Good luck.
