I have a 898. If you have never used Side Imagainig before it will totally amaze you. I have fished my home lake for a lot of years and am totally amazed what is actually below the water. One note of caution, it is not as easy to spot fish with SI as one might think, but it is great for identifying structure.

I have to agree with SM. The side imaging is amazing, but more of a value to me is the down imaging. VERY detailed on finding fish in deeper water. I have the 798 combo and downloaded the down imaging and I am very pleased.

MSM, I find if it's on the down imaging I see it on the side imaging. Sure makes it easy to find that deep cover and return later.

GS- True that. And the ability to zoom in makes it nice as well.
