Thread: toad suck

Last thing I heard about Toad Suck was the sting operation they were doing up there catching homosexuals soliciting companionship for a few minutes. After we stopped laughing, the wife and I scratched it off the potential fishin spot list.

James the waters below toad suck dam are loaded with catfish, i have had some good trips fishing from the bank on the RV park side My fav spots is off the Jetti tips be prepared for a walk over rocks to get to them. Below the dam is good but very snaggy from the bank you will lose some tackle. The absolute best way to fish it is from a boat, anchor below the dam and use cut bait. You will get allot of bites on liver and worms, but the little fish will tear you up. My fav baits is a smashed trot line minnows, cut skip jack or shad.
