In my 50 years of fishing I have found that whenever the Mississippi River is on a rise it shuts them down even on oxbows not connected to the river. Sounds impossible but it seems true
on a lake off the St Francis.Sunday had a fair day
River comes up monday-slowed way down. Anybody find the same thing???
