I would get some dark and some light. Lot's of the folks like pink. I've never caught on pink. I usually pull all darks on overcast days with something light thrown in to keep the fish honest and the opposite on bright days. I use bandits, rebels, bombers or whatever is on sale. The Mississippi guys are the pro's on this and their forum is full of good information.

My go to color is pearl/black back. My favorite one has one eye missing. My son and I made a trip to Nimrod last year. I had one and only one lure they would hit. It was pearl/chartruse.
Creekslick is our local expert on dragging Bandits and he likes those with pink in them. He had a thread recently about a trip to Mississippi that showed off a "pank" one.
Dragging bandits is expensive. But, productive. Although I haven't had any success on Ouachita or Greeson with them. I don't understand why.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but DP, did you crank on Maumelle? I've never seen the lake and started to drive over there from Mayflower.

Go to the Mississippi main page and look at pulling cranks 101. Ask any question you want and they can answer it. If you post something it will make major day and make wannabe cry. (If you read some of the post that will make sense to you) it has over 610 posts. it has everything from what rod they each use to the tm they each use. It even has depth charts so you know how deep your bandits are running by the amount of line you have out. There picture of how then setup there boat. It’s full of information. Good luck pulling. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/missi...nks-101-a.html

I did about a month ago. I didn't do too well. But, I ain't gave up on it yet. I was on the wrong end of the lake.
All of the grand kids are back with there parents now. I will be giving it a try in the afternoons. I can be on the lake before 5PM and fish to dark after work.
