Good Day on Nimrod!

It was terribly hot and windy today. The 1/4 oz. Bighead Jigs saved the day as they allowed us to stay in contact with the brushpiles as we battled small whitecaps.
We kept 28 nice crappie and threw back at least that many smaller ones. The lake is dangerously low due to a drawdown. Only try launching at the very end of Anderson Branch. There is a ramp out on the lake bed constructed just for the drawdowns.

What kind of dog is that? It looks a lot like my wife's rat terriers which we sure do love.

Just got back to a computer. This is our 5 year old Rat Terrier, Abbie.
NIMROD, We culled out to 28 nice ones with about 5 this size. Fillets filled a gallon ice cream bucket.
Going after 'em again this weekend!
