    Did you leave any for seed?
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

    Tree tops perpendiculat to the bank. The bigger the better, dropped jig to bottom and twitched it, then pulled within two inches of suface and let it free fall,over and over, jig never set still, you could see most of them come up and grab it. REally cool.

    never fished black river. where would a good safe spot to start out and launch from.....to get familiar....
