Thinking of going over to Nimrod tomorrow. Does anyone know if the drawdown is complete? Any trouble launching at the Corps parks? If I took my camper over next week for a few days, which park would be the best to stay in, or they all about the same? Any advice from anyone who is familiar with the situation over there is appreciated.
Many thanks!

I am sure Nimrod will see this and chime in.
As backed up as the Arkansas River is right now, I can't imagine the lake not being high right now.

There is no drawdown at Nimrod. Right now it is about 14 feet high. It is all out in the fields. I fished there the last 3 days but was bass fishing but I talked to a couple crappie fisherman who said they were catching a few.
The water is real clear now. I heard that they may cancel the big drawdown.
It ain't nuttin but luck.
That answers my question about using the ramps. I probably couldn't have found a ramp had I gone. Turns out I didn't get to go anyway. Thanks for the info. Wonder when it will be down where it needs to be?

Nimrod does have several high water ramps for use when the lake is high. Right now the lake is still over the regular ramps but dropping several inches a day.
CATCH A BIG-UN
The lake is forecasted to reach normal level by mid June. The level is dropping about a foot per day. Should start dropping faster as the water gets off the fields and does'nt cover such a big area.
I wish they would cancel the drawdown, but don't see it happening as the drawdown is'nt to be complete till July they say.
