The bite was on BIG TIME today
Ofcourse I am here at work.
My Dad, Aunt and Uncle fished together today at a spot that shall remain nameless for the time being. They caught right at 200 fish, kept 60 slabs and 20 magnum brim even with the gale force winds.
I intend to be there for daybreak in the morning if at all possible and hope the weather will hold off for half a day atleast.
Been waitin all spring for this spot to get right!! Pics to follow I hope.

Tell us about the patter?
Was they biting in the shallows or deep?
thanks!

10-12fow might be the deepest water on this place and virtually no topography changes. Holding on the grass edges(hydrilla) and most were caught on a bass pro 2" curly tail grub on a 1/48 head. black w/ red flake body and chart tail.

If you're able to stay halfway out of the wind and safe, you should do well...it's around the full moon and just before a storm front. I'd advise going early and get in if the thunderstorms start:D.

Got all day Friday in and I'm not sure anyone would believe it or not so I took pics. Would have paid a couple grand to have had a videography along. Gonna start a new one for this report.
