MWhite,I am bullsprig on the fife. Burnt Cane is still high and muddy. It was good for a couple of years but IMHO when the water got up in 2008-2009 it changed it.I was used to catching 200 a day with 40-50 pretty good crappie. I think they added some to the runout so it stays higher. Also never got as clear last year. We caught some nice ones but the deep cover where I would catch 25 the year before would give up 2-3. Think it will clear up when the rains stop and we will get some slabs. Saw a Guy in Trumann with 20 mounted over 3 pounds out of BC. A couple of bass about 9 too. 13 pounder was caught on a tourney last year. A bit of advice--the clearest water is usually right at the ramp.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

thanks for the help / info bro..

the bass fish will bite in muddy water.. i won a touney there last year with 18+ lbs on best five fish and you could see 4 inches at best.. i've seen two 8 pounders come out of the lake..
