I've read allot these past few days, thats got me thinking about the drop shot rig, also trolling with the bandit lures.
    1. When trolling do I need a line counter?
I've been using 6lb test trilene monofilament, would you suggest something different?
Been fishing the Norfork lake in Ark.

Any info would be greatly appreciated , thanks in advance !!!
I would probably go with at least a 10lb+ plus line for pulling cranks. There is a great thread down on the Mississippi forum concerning this. I was at Basspro a couple weeks ago and purchased a couple of Bandit 300's that were labled Crappie. They were right beside the regular 300's. The only thing I could see different were the hooks. Have fun and stimulate the economy by buying lot's of stuff.

Here's is the link to the Mississippi thread
