    Default Greers 4/2/10

Me and my fishing partner caught a few at Greers Ferry today. Would have caught more but had to leave early.

He gets excited as I do when I catch one.

Nice catch and good pics, I like your partner lol. I was on greers today for a little while my dad just bought a boat and has it up there and I took it out, he has never owned a fishing boat and he had forgot to charge his batteries. Of course I did not know this until I got out there. The motor started and ran fine, after fishing for a little while and not catching any I went to move, only to discover the batteries were dead. Got to learn how to pull start his 40 merc so I guess something good came out of it, maybe. Spent more time messing with the motor than actually fishing. Looking forward to my next chance to get out there

Every bass boat in AR must have been ob GF Sat. My hurled profanities and gestures failed to slow them down at all. I think bass fishermen as a group are afflicted with ADD.

I met a guy at Greers on Saturday who said that there was a bass tournament going on with 125 boats entered in it, and I think every one of them motored by me at some point during the day.

You Batesville fisherman are crappie catching fools. I have another friend from Batesville that fished up Middle Fork Saturday and caught 30. The wife and I only caught 12. Seemed like they were biting better when it was cool and cloudy before noon.

By the way Krappie, I think the wife and I said hello to you Saturday. Do you remember a couple in a blue/silver Starcraft troll by you and ask if you'd "done any good"?
