Thanks and I did find that hump this morning thanks to a guy that was fishing About 150 ft from me. I remembered he fished there when I caught all those fish, so I went away from him at the same angle and Whammo there was that hump. I anchored and caught 12 in 15 casts then it slowed way down but I finally got a limit. Strange thing was that most of these were females.
Just like the book says, the males go in first. Needless to say, I made sure thr gps marked the spot this time.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

It depends on what time of year. If in the next week, shoal bay..Piney bay..Ouita bay.... Best thing is go to Wal-Mart and get a Dardanelle Lake map which shows the sumerged creeks, railroads..old highways..etc. Even has the coordinances if you are high tech. I have been catching mine around submerged creeks dropoffs tossing a jig into 4--5 ft of water and letting it fall off the creek bank but I figure they will move soon to the banks. When they do fish near the weed beds in 2 to 4 foot deep swimming a jig/ minnow under a float. It works for me. Actually, a guy was fishing from the bank in weed beds and caught 2 good stringers of crappie. That was my intention this morning but when I saw that they pulled the lake down a foot, I went back out n the bay and it payed off. Hope this helps

Yea, Monday was bad from daylight on it got worse. I took a friend that's up here camping fishing and ran both batteries down on my trolling motor trying to jig condos. We caught a good mess but man the wind was terriable.
