What is the best way to fish back up the creek at the bridge? In three trips I have yet to catch or see a fish caught other than the 2 yellow bass I caught last week.
Which bridge? There are three there. The first is the Hwy 365 bridge. I like to spider rig just to the west of the channel in there. Also there is a decent lil hole there that will hold some crappie at times. I use a minnow tipped jig under a float there.
The second is the rail road bridge. I don't fish around it much, but if you happen to pull a hi-tek rod holder out from the water's between these two bridges, let's talk. I have 30 bucks waiting to say, "Thank you" to someone.
The third bridge is the steel foot bridge at the entrance to the pool. Here folks try everything in the world to get those lil tight lipped fishes to bite.
I have yet to catch anything under that bridge, but there is plenty of cover there, and other than high pressure, you'd think it would hold some fish.
Try a tight line with a minnow under some split shot. But don't give that minnow too much slack or he'll wrap you up tight around all that habitat down there.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
