Pre-Spawn Status....Checkin' in.

Well boys, here's the latest: Queen No. 2 has been gone over seven months now and we are nearing final negotiations w/i 30 days. Whew. The only difference between an ex-wife and a taxidermist is that the taxidermist leaves the skin! Actually...it's not that bad currently. I still have enough for a sack or two of minnows and a couple boxes of waxworms.

I have not been out but four times in the past seven months and really am not gung-ho about it even now..except... I KNOW things are going to pick up in the next few weeks. So.l gotta get my batteries ready (or replaced) and get that Sweetwater back in the water.

Hopefully, I will be able to do that the first time I get a windless day w/ the temps in the 50's. :D We'll see.

I hope my interest will return sooner than later. Right now, the wind is just not in my sails. Those of you who have been unlucky enough to go through one of these KNOWS what I'm talking about. But...I'm gonna make myself go and I'll bet a couple of 2.5 - 3 pounders might change my attitude donchano. :D

Been wondering where you've been. Sounds like you have had your hands full. Not sure that was how you planned spending the first year of retirement. Now go get the new off of that toon. Good luck to you. Glad you're back

Yeah don't be stupid like I was and run back out there and get QUEEN no. 3,it isn't a lucky number either.I sorta thank God everyday for not sending no. 4,really I think its a blessing to be a free man.I know the hurt,I know the flat pocket book,I know the close end feeling.Your doing yourself wrong,put some clothes on and start that motor,come on out and meet the rest of us baldhead single guys.I know nomatter what we try to tell you it want soak in for awhile but let me tell you this.After I went though feeling sorry for my self and crying my shoes full plus P'd at the world I now think I'm one of the luck ones in the world.NO honey do's,NO one to answer to,CAN go freely where I want,most times buy what I want.When I retried last year life even got better,no working 7 days a week nomore to support queens,I get a monthly fishing check in the mail and its all mine lol.
Anyway I know you know your really doing yourself wrong by staying away from things you should be doing.It only prolongs the hiding and not good on your body,it'll make your hair gray and fall out lol.

Hey its only a women and there are a ton of them out there,just get a playmate don't marry it.If you want something by your side all the time get a dog as they always have a tail wag for you.My springer is one of my best friends and I can count on her 24/7.Now get out fishing as I'm heading down mid March and need some reports on Ouachita and remember your overall health is a lot more important.They say time heals all wounds,Good Luck
