Thread: Yummy crappie

My wife just whipped up the best fish coating yet for my Crappie...

I have heard many different ways...but....

Try this exactly as stated: fresh fillets of crappie water rinsed, dip in plain white flower, then dip in egg, then dip again in crushed wheat ritz crackers, salt, with a lot of "fresh grated parmasian cheese" mixed in. deep fry in peanut oil. Oh my goodness....slap yo mama!! Folks...the is really good!!! This beats my Corn Flake Crumb with butter milk mix.....which is to die for.

I want to hear back what you think of this if you try it.....

If it gets any better than just plain old yellow cornmeal I don't know if I could stand it. LOL. Thanks, I just may try it.
