Please thank your son for his service and willingness to do what he does. As someone has said, thanks to him and those like him, we here at home can enjoy the freedoms of this great nation. Prayers will go up for him and the family he leaves behind while serving. God bless all of you.

Your son is in harm's way. But, it really involves the whole family. Trust in God to know what is best.

The freedoms were have and hope to continue to have depend on MEN like your son. I pray every night for the troops. One NATION UNDER GOD....some I think have forgotten those three words.

I can only imagine how you and the family must feel about knowing your son has to go to a foriegn land during war time. Tell your son there's more of us than he knows that appreciate the sacrifice he's giving up leaving his family to protect and serve his country to keep it free as it's always been. We'll be praying for his safe and sound return.

    Hey Hud
I was in the same situation as you and your wife were back in Oct of 09.Our youngest son was deployed to Iraq and his wife is expecting their first child in 5 weeks while he will be in Iraq. This is what these kids signed up for and without them we would probably be speaking another language in this country besides English & Spanish. He will be fine and make you both proud as our son is doing for us.I don't know if your'e familiar with Skype, its a video camera that you can plug into your computor and see and talk to your son everyday if you wish just like he was there in front of you.All you have to do is go to a store like Staples,Office depot etc and they can show you how it works. The nicest part is it's absoulutley FREE no charge what so ever except for the camera which is anywhere from $20.00 TO $100.00 depending on your choice.I hope this helps you and your wife get thru this with all the joy a kid can give his parents making them proud.Best of luck and Gods speed.
