Hey Hunter 7711, Firetiger, black, silver with black top, pink, mistake have all worked for me. I have a custom painted one called American shad that has really worked well, hard to describe it, pink throat, blue head, white belly, gray back, scale pattern. I would think a pink with black striping would work, or some kid of pink/blue combination. Sexy shad patterns might work too.

I kinda doubt it....but heck most people think us duck hunters are dumb....I started out trolling cranks for crappie with my bass rods jamed in whatever cracks I could find to hold em....the trick is to go slow, find a color & depth they like, and have a good lure retriever. I usually don't pull cranks until it gets too hot to fish other ways. If you get interested in trying it shoot me a pm and I'll give you a few more details to get you started.
