That's a nice catch for a couple of hours in these conditions David. BTW, I'm the one that got him off of Bass fishin' a couple of years ago (he used to call Crapppie fishing "old man fishin'"). But Larry from Crossett finished him out on trolling for Crappie......I can't take all the credit for that. Larry just fish's for Crappie constantly when he is off work and has been doing it for 45 years. He fishes, hunts and flys airplanes on his off days for entertainment and just won't slow down long enough to get on a computer. At age 65 he is still like a 12-year-old on steroids.....I wish I had half his energy! When I troll with David it is usually nearly two-to-one with him being the winner. If we are tightlining at one of our honey holes in Lake Monticello during the summer it is about three-to-one. Last summer I remember one day in particular when we were at a deep water brushpile in L.M. when he had twelve slabs after two hours and I had TWO FISH!! He had me about ready to quit fishing altogether! I thought about that for several day after and never could figure out how he did it! I think he senses the bite about the time the fish thinks about it....it's uncanny!! I know for a fact that water he was fishing in today was as muddy as chocolate milk but he was able to figure out the depth of the fish (not on the bottom!) and the color and presentation to make the big ones bite! Good job fishing today David and I hope you got to watch the game!!!
