Default I found you (I'm new here)

I just found this site and recognise some of the usernames. I wondered where everyone had gone.

    Now, I have found you.
I think that I am going to Lake Barnett when the roads thaw a little. I wanted to go to Des Arc yesterday but I decided that I should not with the snow an sleet coming down. I will have to get out somewhere today before I lose what is left of my mind.

I look forward to learning from everyone here.

Welcome to the site! I have fished Barnett a couple of times years ago. Is there any good crappie fishing there? I've always wanted to spear fish down by the damn since I remember the water being crystal clear :D

Yes, hotrod. There are some big crappie in Barnett. I caught one back in November that was about 2 1/2lbs. I also caught several 2 pounders.
I am going to try to go this afternoon or tomorrow if the roads clear up enough.

Okay wish4fish. Sall crappie only. I won't tell

Well my brother just called. It looks like I'm going rabbit hunting today instead of crappie fishing. Either way, I have got to get out of the house.
Maybe fishing tomorrow. I got a call earlier telling me that we are not working tomorrow.

Three of us got 8 rabbits and a large sow coon. We did not have dogs and we just about walked ourselves to death. We missed about 4 rabbits.

25 years ago, 8 rabbits between 3 people would have been a bad day.
