Peckerwood is closed until after duck season.
If you want to fish it, you will have to do it out of a duck blind.

Now don't go dissing the Natural State just cause some folks like to spend more money than the national debt on a butt-ugly bird that tastes like an over priced cut of cow so they can say, "I killt it my own self".
We only have a few lakes here that have crappie in them.
Cane Creek is known for its barn doors. Its not but another hour or so down the road from Peckerwood. There is Horseshoe. Its the only lake in Arkansas that has a 50 crappie limit. Greeson is known for not only its great crappie, but also it is considered one of the best walleye lakes in the country. I'd recommend a guide for Greeson. Its a big lake.
So, you can see, we only have a few to choose from. If you don't like these, there are only about 200 more.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
We've got 50 crappie limits on all the lakes inside the Mississippi levee such as Midway, Whitehall, Mellwood, etc. and the lakes across the river that are technically half in Arkansas such as Tunica Cutoff.
