Default Good day on Lake Washington

I fished Lake Washington today and had a real good day. It started out slow with lots of 9-10 inch guppies but took a while to figure out what would make the big ones bite. I must have caught 200+ in all but had 30 real good ones culled down by 2:00. Caught them all close to the bottom in 15-16 FOW.

Good job Steve. That lake produces doesn't it? I've been having good strings from there for the last few weeks but 30 is more than I wanna clean!

Wow, that was a good day. I'd love to cull down to 30 any day. I wound up keeping 39 at Cypress Lake in Benton Louisiana, but caught nowhere close to 200. It sounds like you had a blast. Congratulations on the catch.

I know what you mean Bill! I gave 10 of those fish away at the boat ramp to an elderly couple that had been fishing off the dock for several hours without a bite. It made their day! They had been hoping to just catch a few bream!

I wish you and Bo had been there around noon. You would have had your hands full with the longlining!!!
