    Default Greers Ferry Lake

Any fisherman out there with some spider rigging tips on Greers Ferry Lake.
    Best time of year?
    Average depth of presentation?
Best areas to avoid constant snags?
    Minnows or jigs?

    Thanks!

Hope the following will help a little bit...
    1. Late summer into early winter
    2. Average about 15 to 20 ft.
    3. Wallmart has maps that shows areas where timber was cleared.
    4. Jigs, Minnows and or both.

Presently with the water level approximately 15 ft. above normal, you will just have to search and find them...I am sure they will be around some of the standing pole timber. Good Luck.
If the good Lord is willing and the creeks dont rise I'll catch a slab today.

How do you fish the standing timber?

Do you catch good numbers consistently by any particular technique on Greers Ferry?

    Thanks

Fish the standing timber very caustiously. Fish the outer eadges if possible.
Fish slowly, but constantly moving. Sometimes an erratic movement (side to side) seems to work. If they are biteing at all, you should do ok.
