    Question War Eagle 754 VS

Does anyone have a War Eagle 754 VS? It is their 17'+ stick steer. Looked at one yesterday and it sure looks like a fishing machine.

That's a good looking rig Wayne. I think you ought to go for it.

I really like what the all of the manufactures have done by placing the livewell to the side. I was going to do that to mine, but, would really be a bigger project than Ihad time for.
I have a problem with the freeboard in my Tracker. I am truely safe inside and no worries about falling out. But, with all of that boat above the water, it sure catches a lot of wind while you are trying to spider rig or slow troll.
Something to consider about any new boat.

It's just wishful thinking right now but in a year or 2 I think I may own 1 of them with a 50 hp 4-stroke.

Maby, JUST MABY, ole Santa will come early in a year or so....one can only hope....Like the way it is laid out. That is what I like about my old style fiberglass boat, I sit down inside and dont have to worry about standing up and jumping right out into the middle of the lake. I dont have the live well or storage, sure wish I did but would still not give it up for a deck and pedistal. I am also hoping for one of those some of these days....hope you git yore wish....b m:D:D

I have a 1648 VS with a 25 hp. Good for fishing the oxbows and small lakes.
We are going to Norfork more and more so I am trading up for a Lund.
On a windy day, running down the lake, riding in front can beat you to pieces, and get you very wet.

I am seriously looking at one of these also. I like everything about it but I am undecided about whether or not I would like running the outboard from the front of the boat. Some folks have told me that it takes some getting used to.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I have a stick steer now and love it but it is too small for the lake I fish now. Also my finance manager (wife):D will not ride in it.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
