I think it depends on the depth the fish are in too plus what Wayne sez. I did pretty good in the Summer in 20 ft on Degray or 15' on Nimrod (In open water). I will be concentrating in 10' spider rigging till next summer. I still haven't mastered spider rigging and will have to repent several times before I can say I have been successful with it.
