    Default boat fixed!!


    well i got my referbished lower unit in today. got it installed and took it to conway. all seams well with outboard and new trolin motor is cool and works great. YEAH. Fetmo is back on the water and is Lady a happy dog!:D

    Congrats to both of you! I know what its like to have a unusable boat in the drive. Its painful. Glad to see you both back on the water.

    Glad your back at it,looks like Lady is going to keep a eye on the lower unit.

    Just in time to catch a bigin as we go into the winter months,this is the time of year your more likely to catch a wall hanger.

    Glad your back together. I would be sure and change the gear oil a couple of times over the next couple of months, maybe even before the warranty runs out if it has any length to it. Be watchful of pieces of metal, your going to see the glittery specks but shoulnd'nt see any "chunks" in the spent lube. Jim.

    Looks like your down by the metal Gazeebo close to the Pierce Creek access. Glad to see your back on the water Fetmo. Catch any down there?

    A busted boat is NEVER any fun. Glad to see youre fixed and back on the water again. Now...bring on the fishing reports and pictures.

    i just fished a lil. really went to check motor out. and i did find that i have to move my new trollin motor. it hits my stick ;(
    that boat ramp is the closest to my house.

    Lake Conway is an excelant place to test a new lower unit. :D
    I lost one there coming out of Cane creek into the lake a few years ago. I let the wind push me back to the landing while steering with my trolling motor. Snap it in two as well.
