    Default Sugarloaf area

You and me both CS...by the way, do you ever fish around sugarloaf on the east and southeast side of the mtn.? Have been wanting to go over there and try to see if I can find some 20' water with little or no timber and mud bottom. I know you fish middle fork area but didn't know if you ever got down around sugarloaf. If this weather is not too unsettled, plan on going over there possibly tomorrow. BM
If the good Lord is willing and the creeks dont rise I'll catch a slab today.

I have fished there 4 times this summer. It has been good 1 time and bad 3. I had my best day fishing the deep water on the North side of the mountain but that was 6 weeks ago. I may be up there tomorrow but I think I may try the Choctaw area.

Fished South Fork area this past Friday and picked up a few. Nothing to brag about but enough for a good mess of fried crappie friday night. Have been debaiting between Sugarloaf and Southfork but haven't made up my mind yet. What type boat will you be in? I will be fishing out of an older style VIP Fiberglass boat with a 25 hp Honda. If I do go up southfork will look for you, would like to shake you hand and meet you personally. Had a friend fish up around the Partain area friday and he picked up a mess down close to the island area. They were just slow on Friday. Bm....

Well CS didn't make it to the lake today, got up and was not feeling well at all. The old heart was not acting just right so I thought it best not to venture out. Did you go, if so how did you do? Hope to run into you somewhere on the lake one of these days....bm

Well in my opinion, if you are lucky enough to get the trailor, you are getting in the best portion of the lake. Middle Fork and South Fork are the best I think. Anyhow, hope that all goes well and will be looking for your toon. bm..
