I have a bum knee, so it is very hard for me to constantly stand and press on a foot pedal, wish I had a hand held tiller. To solve my problem of the foot pedal moving around on the bow, I turned it sideways and bolted it to the front of the bow. Now I can sat and operate it with both feet and never have to worry about it sliding around, but of course I have it mounted in the center of the bow, it works great and I think a lot better than standing up or trying to regulate the speed.
In Millwood it is better to operate manually than to set your speed, constantly moving in and around stumps.
