    Default Lake Lee today, 9/9

Ended up with only 26 but they were nice average size. And one 10# Buffalo. What struggle on a jig pole. Most everybody fishing there had crappie of some amount. Fast trolling (.9-1.1MPH) red/chartreuse tubes at 10-12' in 20-35 FOW. They were really biting slow with the river level jumping around like it has been. But it's always nice to be able to go fishing! Name: 011.JPG

Nice catch Bill; glad we met today and I got to put a face with the name. I had to leave early so I started trolling back towards the ramp and kept 7 more the last 1 1/2 hr. Ended up with 15 good carppie and one really nice bream; I love bream that are big enough to filet; LOL.

Did you clean the buffalo? Those Mississippi River humpbacks are very fine eating! Ain't they fun to catch on a trolling rod!!!

Thanks James...It was great to meet you also!! Glad you had a good mess to take back with you. Hope to see you again soon on the water.

Nah Steve...Southern Chuter watched me fight that beast and toss him back in. Wasn't sure I was gonna land him. I kinda favor crappie for eatin'!! NOW, IF I WAS OUT OF CRAPPIE, THEN WELLLL.... :D But for now I'll leave those Buffalo to you and others.
