How many rods are legal per person in AR.? This question keeps comming up and I have not been able to find answer from online site of G&F. Some say 2, some say 4. Can anyone give me correct info or direct me where I can read regulations if any? Thanks...

I just looked in the 09 AG&F guide book i couldnt find anything bout rod # restrictions on lakes. now on rivers there are a few restrictions but only on trout waters (lil Red...)as far as i could tell.

Flowing waters have the restrictions, except for Mirror Lake. Only certain areas of certain flowing waters are restricted. Look here and scroll down to the bottom of the page. The regulations for lakes and for flowing waters are listed there and can be looked up by name for specifics.

Thanks one and all for info. It appears that on most lakes there is no limit and that is what I was looking for. Have a good week and GO HOGS....BEAT THAT BULLDOG...:D:D

You and me both CS...by the way, do you ever fish around sugarloaf on the east and southeast side of the mtn.? Have been wanting to go over there and try to see if I can find some 20' water with little or no timber and mud bottom. I know you fish middle fork area but didn't know if you ever got down around sugarloaf. If this weather is not too unsettled, plan on going over there possibly tomorrow. BM
