    Default Lower water temps

Went out today and jig fished awhile. The surface temps on Nimrod were in the lower 80's this morning. A few more cooler days and fish will start to move. Caught a mess of Crappie about 8' of water. Nothing big , biggest about a pound.

I jig fish structures (condos, pallet beds, stumps) in the lake. Spider rigging is for OF's and amatures. I quit dragging a bunch of poles around the lake years ago. Usually catch all I need when they're biting with 1 pole. Love to feel that thump on my jig pole.:D
