    Smile Lake Erling

I am glad to hear of the good catches at Lee Lake, but that is just too far for me to drive from Cotton Valley, LA. I am thinking of driving up to Lake Erling on Monday though. Has anyone been to Lake Erling lately? I have heard some really good things about Lake Erling, but have not had a chance to fish it yet. Any help will be appreciated. I will probably put my boat in at the park ramp. Thanks.

pastor lets try to get togather and go to Earling some times, as you now that Cypress and black bayou are having the plug pulled on them the 7th. of sept. untill Jan. 1st. I don't think it needs to be drained. They say it is to be pulled down 6 to 7 ft. I fished Earling a lot in the past but it has ben a good while.
