Default Good day on Lee Lake

My youngest (21-yr-old) son and his 3 1/2 yr-old son (Atticus) met me at Lee Lake at noon today. I had already been fishing that morning but was able to talk them into driving over to fish a while this afternoon. We had a great time and left with over 50 really good sized Crappie. I would guess we must have caught well over a hundred in all. Atticus even caught three himself (with a little help)! I didn't have any suntan lotion in the boat but put the umbrella up for the kids....they got a little burn in spite of the shade.....but had a real good time anyway.

    Default spider set up

Great catch. Love the pictures. Any chance of you posting a picture of those six poles in the holders. Been trying to figure out how I am going to set up my Bass Tracker for spider riggin.

It's good seeing the three generations fishing together. I bet that grandchild will become a lifelong partner with you in another couple years. Sounds like you guys had alot of fun with alot of catching to boot! Congrats.

He had a great time Brad. Looks like he might be going with me again today after church. That is definitely an afternoon bite on Lee right now. We kept 30 of our fish from 1:30 till 4:30 trolling 14-16 ft deep with the same jig setup you and Bo were catching them on. I don't know what happened at the ramp....just heard a siren.

Fishbasket: just get a couple of 4-rod holders from Home and you will be in business. I'll try to post a pic of the setup later.

We saw divers in the water. We tried to help but they wouldn't let us get close to offer with the HB side scan!! It didn't look good!!

    luvpt,
Thanks, looked at those before but you are the first person that I heard might use em. I looked a lot closer this time than last. I like the idea of the 2 seats side by side also, if shes sitting beside me fishing she can't be fussing about me going.
