    Default You know they're biting WHEN.....


    Went over to Lee today to get in on the action...didn't get over there til 11 am...fished 5 hours and caught 27 nice sized crappie...You know they're biting when you put your 1st pole out and you have a slab on the end of your line before you can get the second one out....good feelin'

    The same thing happened to me Sunday morning TJ!! I was unrolling the second rod when I saw the one in the rod holder bend over like it was going under the boat! I said right then "this is going to be a good day"!! Glad to see you caught some good ones! My friend and fishing buddy, Larry from Crossett was on Lee today and said he did quite well. He would have been spider rigging in a 16 ft F&F with a Honda OB.

    yea...i saw larry from a distance....i was a little further out in the lake than you were but that's definately the right area...thx for the heads up

    no...i actually went down in the felsenthal to a ouachita river oxbow called pereogeethe sat but got rained on and only caught 15 keepers but not nearly the size of the lee fish..guess i need me one of them thar umbrellas...whatever color u call that...lol

    Is that north of Saline river mouth and on east bank of Ouachita? Lake Pair-o-geese?? BTW - Friend of mine says he's doing well in Marie Saline right now. Good size crappie too!

    yea bill that's it...i've always called it parageese too...agfc calls it pereogeethe...they were biting in open break below the port as well...i figured the big rise would've shut 'em down...u just never can tell

    And FishTrap is also hot. I got that other name from a '76 Bradley county map. Go figure! Well, WE know where it is!
