Default Lee Lake Weekend - Pics

It was nice to see and fish with some friends on Lee today. There was Brad (mchappy) and Bill (Luvin.fishin) and a couple of boats from Crossett. We all had a great time. I posted some pics of the Crappie we kept yesterday and today. There are a total of 164 Crappie in the two ice chests which will be kept packed in ice and cleaned tomorrow. I kept 38 this morning but had to leave by 11:40 to pick my wife up at the airport. My son David and his wife met me at the ramp at noon and I took their vehicle and they took over the fishing in my boat. They kept another 41 by 4:00 and those are the ones in the small (60 quart) ice chest. The other ice chest is a large 160 quart and is filled with 123 Crappie from yesterday and this morning. I would say that we easily caught more than 250 crappie yesterday and today. It was a perfect day to be on the lake.

Yea, I caught a few more while gettin ready to leave and talking to Dale from Crossett. That's what was in the box when I got home. Don't rub it in about being able to fish tomorrow. How I would love to just call in sick! You'll probably have'em all caught by the weekend and I'll have to find another lake to fish! Have you had that Nitro into Paradise yet?

I think I'm gonna wait and follow you in from the bridge! Let me know when to meet you there. Looks like we've got a 4 foot or better rise happening now so I don't know 'bout the oxbows or Paradise. BTW did David and wife use the same pattern you were using on Lee? They change color? I saw them in the same area.

Yea, they were catching them on the Bobby Garland 2-inch Slab Slay'R in the "electric chicken" color. Check them out at: http://www.easycarts.net/ecarts/Gene...pie_Baits.html

Nice catch there guys. Glad to see someone putting fish in the boat. I have been so tied up I haven't had time to go over here in Oklahoma.

This Lee Lake is that known as Jack Lee Lake? Not from around these parts just curious is all.
