    Default Fireworks on Degray

The wife has decided we are spending the 4th on Degray. Does anyone know if there is a fireworks show that evening we can watch from the toon boat?

According to the local paper, there will be a fireworks show on Degray. If it's like normal it will take place out from the State Park Lodge. I'll try to double check the location for you. Also, which ramp/camping area are you planning on using?

Have fun DP. You'll probably have a better time fishin on DeGray than Ouachita right now.

    Be safe,

I appreciate the help. We are just going to use the day to explore. I don't know much about Degray. Last Saturday was really my first time on it. We put in at the State park. Our annual camping trip (in about 3 weeks) which has been on Quachita every year appears to be moved to Degray this year. Are the islands any good for camping? I didn't see much camping activity on them last weekend. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I saw your post about fishing Quachita. I camped on an island just west of 10 Sunday night. I never did find a sign of crappie. The bull bream and red ears were just off of their beds in about 8' of water at the very back of a creek. I don't know the name of it or I would tell you. All I had was roostertails. I bet I could have loaded up on them with some wigglers.
