Mine worked great, but not much wind. One issue............the part that sticks into the seat pedestal mount is "pointed"........it's made to stick into the ground.

That's a problem. That makes it a bit unstable in the pedestal mount. I'm going to have to somehow cut it off flat, so it fits in the hole better. Also, it's slightly smaller O.D. than the pedestal hole. I'm thinking maybe putting some duct tape around it to make it fit the hole better.

If it is really windy, my 9' model is gonna have a problem. Course, if it's really windy, not as much need for the shade as it is when it's hot and still.
