Thread: Getting old sucks

2 years ago my knee swelled up and I went to the doctor. I told him I wasn't sure what I'd done to it but I'd been fishing a lot and operating a foot controlled trolling motor. He didn't know what that was and I showed him how you have to pivot your foot. He said I had a torn meniscus gave me a cortisone shot and said take 2 weeks off and go operate that trolling motor. Pain eventually came back and he repaired it and said take 6 weeks off and run that trolling motor to get the knee back in shape. True story !! I love my doctor !!!

I can't say the trolling motor is not a problem. I run a foot control. The shot I got seems to be helping. I'll find out Monday when I go for a little jog
