Hey Mac, where do ya fish? I was a Phx (Cave Creek) resident for many yrs. I have a good friend lives at 43rd Ave & Bethany Home Rd, not a fisherman. I spent many a day at the VA Hosp on 7th & Indian School Rd. I left in 1990 and one day I will hopefully return. I shoulda never left.

I live on the west side of Phoenix and stationed at Luke. I mainly fish Alamo, San Carlos and Rosey. Lately its been Alamo. Caught 7 good sized ones on Sunday and plan on going back this Thursday. I don't really check this site all that often as you can tell by my late response. Hopefully you'll beback in AZ soon.

I used to live in Az, I love fishin alamo caught my biggest crappie ever at that lake, 19 inches and 4.1 lbs. five of us fishin in the same boat and that was the ONLY fish caught that day:D

well its time for rosevelt to kick it into gear, just any time now, , i'm heading down this wensday for 4 days

Go get em.I'll clean all the smaller bluegills and yellow bass out of Saguaro for a couple weeks until you start catching the crappie,lol.

I've been super busy but I'll try to post more on this site.

I have been away from the site for a while fellas but you'll be seeing and hearing from now.. I fish Roosevelt exclusively for crappie but always snag a bass or two on accident. Don't mind a bluegill now and again either. Looking forward to a great season good luck out there.

Glad to meet you Crapkid.Will you be up at Roosevelt for the AZCA meeting?We've got 3 boats going up.Mine is the only "crappie only" boat,lol.BTW,it also catches the biggest green carp, with ultralight gear,way more fun then any man should be able to have.

Where and when is the meeting I would definitely like to take part.. Ill be up there that entire weekend..
