My nickname has nothing to do with dogs. I was a chubby baby and my mother called me her poochie baby. I had several slightly older cousins who quickly took up the name and it has stuck with me for 49 years. Most of my longtime friends call me Poochie or Pooch, but my wife calls me Vincent.
