Hi, all recently with outside temp dropping quickly even here in the desert, I've only had a few outings since the purchase of my 1st quality JDM Area Trout rod to form any kind of assessment. This last 2 outings are no different in that the rod was fished as intended: catching planned trouts in Pay-per-use pond. I've brought a Ajing rod, a Shimano Soare 48Sul-s for comparing and both excelled in terms of pure ultralight fun and i believe when Spring come they will see such action against spawning sunfish. The Shimano (@46g) just cast differently and is bottom heavy when reel mounted. The Presso Ltd, a competition derived technology rod from Daiwa, after many hours of use still is the most balance rod of all my 7 or so JDM ultralight rod arsenals. Remember look is in the eyes of the beholders, but for pure performance, I still think its very well designed and worth the price of entry. Thanks for reading!Name: 20241127_084715.jpg
