Good post Skeet, I was curious as to the length of the new rod. Growing up we and the commercial cat fishermen around us caught many, many pounds of catfish. As well as Butter Cat. the yellow cats were also called Yellow-bellies and Poly Wads. Glad the first outing with the new rod was a success. Being it’s May already there might be a Striped Bass on that line anytime lol. Fantastic time of the year to be trying out new gear.
