Going to be trying the new 2023 Shimano Vanquish. Have had great luck in the past with USDM Shimanos way in the past, had bad luck with the only JDM shimano I tried, but it was not a made in Japan premium model.

Have nothing against my Daiwas, the 2020 models and 19 Ballistics are great, but I like to try new stuff periodically and I’m coming up on 4 years with these now, time to see what else the world has to offer.

Posted a couple reels and spools in the classifieds, will be moving on from what I’ve got now with the exception of the 2015 LUVIAS pair I have, one was the first JDM reel I ever bought, the other was a gift from my parents. The others will be going to new homes.
