    Default I_fish Jig Heads

I just received my order of jig heads from Victor. I know some of you follow him on YouTube. The jig head is pretty darn good. I got the 1 gram with the #12 hook…which by the way is all he had left in stock. Of course I compare all jig heads to the famed Daiwa Gekkabijin jig head…it is still the king for me by the way. But I have to tell you these jig heads are very close to JDM….of course the hook is a made in Japan hook…and I tell you it is a very good one. I would go so far to say one will not find a better micro jig head in the US market. Of course the #12 hook is not what I would normally use. I would like to see the jig head in a 1.5 gram with some number 8 and 10 hooks. The hook will fit a Trout Magnet perfectly. So for those looking for jig heads with a high quality hook…and want to stay with a US wen store, you might want to give them a try. I’m going to test them out on some shell cracker tomorrow.

    Regards

I also have some of those to try. I need some super glue. No barb and I’m not a fan of glue but I’ll have to get used to it. I have some panfish magnets to put on them. Wishing I had some of those cool nikko baits I’ve seen, they’d be worth the trouble to glue.

Victor has several different weights and hook sizes available now. I have a bunch of each and so far they have worked quite well. Suggest that you check them out. His prices and shipping are very reasonable.

Looking forward to him adding the 1.5gr with #8 hook to his lineup. If he has a 1gr #8 eventually that would be a dream come true. My favorite jighead has a #6 at the smallest which is great for the majority of my UL fishing but I'd really like a premium jighead with a #8 for some situations. Don't mind ordering rods and reels from Japan but terminal tackle and lures always feels like a hassle with shipping fees, running out of stuff at different times and what I want not always being in stock.
