    Default Before the Storm

I got to the pond early ( for me) this morning.
The temperature overnight was upper fifties to low 60’s this morning.
Cloudy and breezy with a storm front due after lunch .
I took my 6’ St Croix Avid panfish paired with a Daiwa Fuego LT 1000 and 4# P-Line .
Lure was a 2” Bobby Garland Baby Shad in silver glitter over pearl that I dyed chartreuse on the glitter top . I later switched to a solid black BGBS . Jig was a 1/64 long shank Trout Magnet .
My hookups and fish to hand ration went up over yesterdays. I think I lost four that came unhooked .
But I brought ten to hand in less than an hour and a half .
    A fun ultralight fishing morning.
These are the better ones .
