I just wonder. suppose no rod came with the manufacturer's name on it and they hide the price! What would you choose for a rod? UL, I like a 5' rod with UL or med light action rated for 2# line. Just have trouble finding line sometimes! But of course that is all simply a personnal thing with me. I'm pretty frugal so seldom pick up any kind of expensive rod and not always a believer in you get what you pay for. If that were true the only rod worth buying would be the most expensive one! With everything it reach's a point where you end up paying more for the name than the product!
It’s all downhill from the point you take the plunge. [emoji23][emoji23]

As are most things.
How many greenbacks is the stick , just wondering , surely it can’t handle my abuse , but still wondering is me
To tell you the truth I don’t remember what I paid , but according to google they’re going for $101 to around $120 at the moment.
IMHO , JDM rods , well at least the entry level ones were something new to play with but I’m just as happy fishing with my St Croix ultralights and my five foot $35 Rosewood rods that I got off Amazon from China. I didn’t care for the 5’6” one , but the five footer are fun little rods .
They all catch fish , even my Shakespeare Micro spinning rod .
I have a 5' Okuma UL od and love it!
