    Default An Interesting Day

I have been fishing the tailrace at Nickajack for 6 years now. The fishing there in June has never been good…..but I keep trying. Yesterday I had 4 quality fish on the Fine Tail Banshee 6 foot Super Ultra Light. Line used was Varivas ES 2 Lemoni Ester in 2.3# test. What is funny the fishing there is on fire in July and August….when water temps will hit 90 degrees. I knew when I arrived that it was not going to be a great day…I was the only one fishing below the dam. While the humidity was lower yesterday than it has been in a while 95 with no breeze is still hot. But in the end the 4 fish on the SUL made for a lot of fun.

Thanks for the ride along, Randy. As said, a few are better than a skunk. Next time the action may be better.

Just a few, but every one of them substantial enough to be a good fight. Glad you found a few.
