I'm also looking for a rod for float fishing, mostly slip bobbers for night fishing but also some clip on style. What are the advantages of the tublar vs the solid or disadvantage of the solid vs the tublar. Probably looking at the 6'8" triple cross Ajing.

Another question on the guide size, are they larger enough for a bobber stop to go through?
