I have no idea what that rod or reels are. What I found out for myself years ago is that there are a lot of rod and reels that will work fine, just find one that appeals to you. If that rod is an ultra light rod, I'd only look at UK reels. Also on UL rod and reels I like a max 4 pound line and when I can find it 2 pound. Should give you an idea on the rod what the rod will handle. What is not good is chasing someone else's idea of good. Go look if you can and handle it a bit and it will probably grab you or it won't. Don't be fooled thinking if it cost a lot of money it's just right. An expensive rod slammed in a door or stepped on breaks just like any cheap rod.
